Delivery & Shipping Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. Overview
Ndzitha IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd offers nationwide delivery across South Africa through trusted third-party courier partners. By placing an order, you agree to the delivery terms set out in this policy.
This policy is governed by the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
2. Delivery Coverage
We deliver to all major cities and towns across South Africa, including Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, and Northern Cape.
- Deliveries are made to physical street addresses only — we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
- Some remote or restricted areas may incur additional fees or extended delivery times.
- International delivery is not currently available.
3. Order Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or after business hours will be processed on the next business day.
- Pre-order, back-order, or special-order items (such as specialized server equipment or enterprise hardware) may have extended processing times, which will be communicated to you.
- You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed, and a dispatch notification with tracking details once it ships.
4. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
| Region | Estimated Delivery |
| Gauteng (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Major Metros) | 1–2 Business Days |
| Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha | 2–4 Business Days |
| Other Major Cities & Regional Hubs | 3–5 Business Days |
| Remote / Rural Areas | 5–9 Business Days |
Delivery times are estimates only and commence from the date of dispatch — not the date of order placement. Timeframes may vary due to courier capacity, stock availability from distributor hubs, public holidays, adverse weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Ndzitha IT Solutions is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services.
5. Shipping Costs
- Orders over R1500: Free standard delivery nationwide.
- Orders under R1500: Flat rate of R145 for standard delivery.
- Express Delivery: Available at checkout or upon request for urgent orders (where applicable).
- Oversized or Heavy Items: Units like large UPS systems, floor-standing server racks, or multifunction office printers may incur additional shipping fees, which will be displayed at checkout or communicated prior to dispatch.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the delivery is a result of our error or the product is defective.
6. Order Tracking
- Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.
- Use the tracking number on the assigned courier partner’s portal to monitor your shipment.
- If your tracking information has not updated for more than 48 hours after dispatch notification, please contact our support team.
7. Delivery & Receipt of Goods
- A signature is required upon delivery for all orders, particularly high-value IT equipment and hardware.
- By signing for the delivery, you acknowledge that the package was received in good condition.
- Inspect your package immediately upon receipt. Any visible damage to outer packaging must be explicitly noted on the courier waybill/delivery receipt.
- Report any external damage, missing items, or incorrect products within 24 hours of delivery by contacting our support team with photos.
- If you are unavailable to accept delivery, the courier may attempt re-delivery or hold the parcel at a local distribution depot for a limited period.
8. Risk Transfer
In accordance with Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act:
- Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the customer upon delivery and acceptance (or upon signature by the customer or an authorised recipient at the specified delivery address).
- Until the goods are delivered to the specified address, the risk remains with Ndzitha IT Solutions or our designated courier.
- If you arrange your own courier pickup or collection from our distribution premises, risk transfers once the goods leave our location or warehouse.
9. Address Accuracy
- It is the customer’s sole responsibility to provide a correct, complete, and accessible physical street address at checkout.
- Ndzitha IT Solutions is not liable for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.
- If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-delivery costs will be for the customer’s account.
- Address changes requested after dispatch may not be possible or may incur additional re-routing fees charged by the courier.
10. Failed Deliveries & Re-delivery
- If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, lack of access, or no authorized recipient being available, the courier will attempt re-delivery or hold the parcel at a depot.
- Uncollected parcels will be returned to us after a holding period (typically 5–7 business days).
- Re-delivery fees and/or return shipping costs will be for the customer’s account before re-dispatch.
11. Split Shipments & Partial Deliveries
- Orders containing multiple items or items sourced from different hardware distributor warehouses may be shipped in separate parcels.
- You may receive items at different times — each shipment will receive its own tracking number.
- If all items from your order have not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact our support team.
12. Special, Oversized & Heavy Items
- Heavy IT infrastructure hardware (e.g., enterprise UPS systems, server enclosures, large multifunction printers) requires specialized logistics.
- Standard delivery of oversized items is to ground floor / kerbside only — stairways or floor-level delivery is not guaranteed unless pre-arranged.
- Any additional fees for special delivery or rigging arrangements will be communicated prior to dispatch.
13. Public Holidays & Peak Periods
- Deliveries are not processed or dispatched on South African public holidays or weekends.
- During peak retail periods (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, December holidays), delivery times may extend beyond standard estimates. We advise placing urgent orders early during these periods.
14. Force Majeure
Ndzitha IT Solutions shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather, or floods.
- Civil unrest, strikes, or service protests.
- Government regulations or import restrictions.
- Infrastructure failures or major courier network disruptions.
In such events, we will make every reasonable effort to inform affected customers and complete deliveries as soon as practical.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:
- Ndzitha IT Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from delivery delays, including loss of business operations, revenue, or anticipated savings.
- Our maximum liability for any delivery-related claim is limited to the shipping fee paid for that order, unless the goods themselves were damaged or lost in transit (in which case our Returns & Refund Policy applies).
- Claims for lost parcels must be lodged with us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.
16. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any other applicable South African legislation. Where this policy conflicts with statutory rights, the law prevails.
